To have a healthy supply of carbohydrates, high fiber grains like brown rice, quinoa, millet, and amaranth are the best. Boiled and grilled recipes must be chosen over fried.
Detoxification is about removal, so in the detox menu, food and food products with sugar are restricted, even artificial sweeteners. One of the sources of toxins in the body comes from fast food, processed foods, and products with preservatives, so obviously these are also banned. Dairy products are not allowed–all kinds of milk, butter, cheese, and creams. Anything that has alcohol, additives, and extenders are banned. Bread and pasta must be substituted by high fiber grains.
